Milan Design Week 2020 is still farther away, however, there are some novelties ahead of the amazing upcoming edition. The entries for the third edition of Ventura Project’s Ventura Future showcase are now open and full of new innovative design elements to come. Milan Design Agenda will be letting you in on the essentials, either if you’re a potential exhibitor or even a curious design fan.

From the 21st to 26th of April, this upcoming event for Milan Design Week will be taking over an area of 3,500 square metres, including two floors of the BASE Milano cultural project in the Tortona Design District. This year, the exhibition is willing to include work from architects, craftspeople and designers. The other edition included a total of 83 exhibitors and 26,000 guests as part of the event.

This upcoming year the organizers have an open proposition willing to take projects that put a focus on the process. Diversity is one of the main focuses of the project, see that they are looking for either multidisciplinary or architectural design methods, modern craft techniques or designs that take an investment in a circular economic system. This last topic, in particular, has been a very weighty topic of debate in regards to new ways of conceiving many design works of art, furniture and other abstract creations.

This is an invitation from Ventura Future to designers, studios, institutions, academics, architects and labels to submit their projects. You can submit your own design project in the following categories: Ventura Brands, Ventura Collection, Ventura Academies, Ventura Expose and Ventura Rooms.

The first edition of Ventura Future was a big success during the Milan Design Week, having managed to reunite in one space 45.000 visitors that had the chance of meeting the work of 82 exhibitors. For this upcoming edition, you have until the 12th of January of 2020 to submit your project.
