George Clooney first purchased this Italian villa which was constructed in the 18th Century. It’s located in Laglio, Italy, on Lake Como, in 2002. The actor stated that “I realized how beautiful life was in Italy and how it really helped calm me and not feel so pressured.”

At that time the actor bought Villa Oleandra for €11.7 million. It includes a total of 25 rooms, a theater outdoors, a swimming pool and a garage big enough for all of George Clooney’s motorcycles.

This mansion has a full gym, a tennis court, several landscaped gardens, massive bathrooms, as well as a separate “pizza room”. A wall was constructed there to avoid the lake from pouring directly inside the house.

This spot at Lake Como is one of several international celebrities’ favorites for an escape from the high life in Hollywood. Several other A-listers from Hollywood and other areas own expensive homes here. Another celebrity living in this same area is fashion designer Donatella Versace.

Oh and did you recently hear that apparently Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have spent a couple of days at Villa Oleandra during this year? The actor is even rumored to be a potential candidate for the prince’s first child!
