Ventura Future 2019 is looking for new works in design. The event will take place during the Milan Design Week from 9 to 14 of April of 2019.
Until the 5th of December of this year, designers, design studios, institutions, academics, companies, and labels will have the chance to enter their best work to the upcoming edition of Ventura Future in order to have a chance of having their work on display. The chosen pieces will be placed in the BASE spaces located in the Tortona in the Ex-Ansaldo (know to have been a former industrial area in Milan in the past). No to mention that the event will occupy 3500 square meters over two floors.
Ventura Projects is looking for new works in categories such as contemporary design, high-level craftsmanship as well as crossovers and collaborations involving design and other areas. However, the main aim of Ventura Future 2019 is to find innovative concepts in design that can improve the future in a social, economic and cultural way.
The first edition of Ventura Future was a big success during the Milan Design Week, having managed to reunite in one space 45.000 visitors that had the chance of meeting the work of 82 exhibitors.
Ventura Projects was founded by Margriet Vollenberg in 2010 and since its creation, it has launched the events Ventura Lambrate (which was discontinued in 2017) and Ventura Centrale (this event is ongoing also during the Milan Design Week), both of them in Milan. There are also other Ventura events in Berlin, Dubai, London, and New York.
