Milan Design Week 2019 will be having lots of showcases made with the scope of anniversary celebrations and one such example comes from Visionnaire. This brand is one of many that are set to introduce a new collection of furniture pieces as a celebration for more than one occasion.
This event of Milan Design Week will celebrate more than one occasion: the fact that the mother company IPE was founded 60 years ago, while the brand Visionnaire, its exclusive brand, is celebrating its 15th birthday. In order to celebrate these two particular occasions, the company has prepared a series of events that we’ll be listing below.
One of the initiatives that Visionnaire has in store for Milan Design Week is the launch of the book “Decalogue”. This volume will be having the full details of the company’s history and values of the past, present and the goals and visions for the future. This book also features editorial coordination by Barbara Brondi & Marco Rainò, outstanding photography by Delfino Sisto Legnani, and the critical viewpoints of Felix Burrichter, Leon Sun and Natalia Timasheva.
The images in the book, all of whom were by Delfino Sisto Legnani will also be presented in a solo show in the “Wunderkammer” gallery of the Visionnaire flagship store in Milan. At the same time, in order to enhance this show, there will be a series of video projections made by the directors of the studio MyBossWas, containing the furniture and complements of the brand. If you like shopping trips then this could be a good suggestion for you during Milan Design Week.
Of course, Visionnaire will also be present at Salone del Mobile, specifically in Pavilion 5 within a space of 820 square meters designed by Alessandro La Spada in collaboration with the creative director Eleonore Cavalli. There the new collection titled “Anniversary” will be on the show, consisting of over 80 products created for indoor/outdoor residential projects. If you’re into craftsmanship, this will also interest you: the brand will be having a series of accessories carefully carved from noble and valuable materials such as ceramics, stone, bronze and Murano glass, designed by new talents in design such as Sara Ricciardi, Gum Design and Claire Frechet. A wonderful opportunity to see quality crafts during Milan Design Week indeed!
