Salone Del Mobile 2022will open today, 07_12.06.2022 in Rho Fiera Milano, with a sustainability-focused edition. The Salone Del Mobile has been one of the most important interior design events for almost 60 years! With over 2,000 exhibitors displaying exceptional items and solutions for contemporary living that blend design, technology, flexibility, and sustainability, the Milan Furniture Fair, which began in 1961, is a forum for promoting Italian furniture and furnishings exports. Rho Fiera Milano will host the 2022 edition on 07 12.06.2022!

Louis Vuitton Objets Nomades

Louis Vuitton’s Objets Nomades is a collection of travel-inspired furniture and objects made in collaboration with internationally renowned designers. Since 2012, Louis Vuitton has invited celebrated designers from around the world to imagine experimental yet functional furniture pieces and design objects for the Objets Nomades collection. Coinciding with this year’s Salone del Mobile in Milan, Louis Vuitton celebrates ten years of the Objets Nomades collection of furniture and design objects. Louis Vuitton’s Objets Nomades will take place at Garage Traversi, Via Bagutta 2, Milan – Italy, From 7 June (from 14:00-18:00) until 12 June (10:00-20:00).

At a specially designed exhibition space within the iconic Garage Traversi, Louis Vuitton unveils two new additions to the Objets Nomades collections as well as a wide selection of recent and classic pieces. Also, for the duration of the fair, the Maison brings Studio Rochel’s ovoid work “Nova House” to the heart of Milan as part of Maison’s tradition of exhibiting nomadic architecture. Some of the world’s most renowned designers have created Objets Nomades for Louis Vuitton, including India Mahdavi, Marcel Wanders studio, Patricia Urquiola, Campana Brothers, Atelier Oï, and many more.

Fendi Casa Flagship Store

The new Fendi Casa collection reflects and amplifies the distinctive codes of the Maison: the arches of Fendi HQ Palazzo Della Civiltà Italiana, the FF and Karligraphy logos, Pequin stripes, and meticulous tailoring. Silvia Venturini Fendi has sought out some of the most visionary talents of our time to reinterpret the very essence of the Maison, transforming it into highly innovative furnishings. Every creation contains traces of a heritage that has always fused fashion, architecture, craftsmanship, and design. From 7 June | 4 pm – Piazza Della Scala, 20121 Milano MI, Fendi will Open Doors to the Design Week.

IKEA Festival

IKEA Festival started yesterday at Fuorisalone, in Milan, which runs from the 6th to the 12th of June, and has many news and launches. Visitors also access a set of engaging events and experiences that illustrate the future of design, explore how the relationship between people and their homes evolves, and the possibility of creating a better day for most people. They will also have the opportunity to attend an exhibition, lectures, and presentations of collections and their respective product revelations of designs by international designers.

ÖGONBLICK – A Life at Home Exhibition – IKEA invites all participants to discover how different moments in life are reflected in the way people live at home while exploring the effects this can have on time and space.

Life at Home Stories – Is a series of short documentaries that show how people from all backgrounds and around the world live in their homes. This representation of the relationship between people and homes comes from visits IKEA has made over the years to people’s homes.

First Home – Takes place outdoors, with classic Milanese courtyard dwellings coming to life, in which IKEA has recreated the homes of three different families, telling the story of those who live in them.

DimoreGallery Orizzonti Exhibition

From 7 – 12 June – Dimorecentrale space in via G. B. Sammartini 63, Milano will host Dimoregallery. The space is inspired by Italian painter Mario Sironi, whose urban landscapes informed designers Britt Moran and Emiliano Salci in the restoration of this former depot. Featuring a multifunctional hub, a courtyard-facing bar, and a store selling a selection of objects chosen by the duo, Dimorecentrale makes its debut with ‘Orizzonti’, an exhibition of 20th-century design masters from Gabriella Crespi to Jacques Quinet.

Covet House will be on 7 June | 4 PM – Hall 02 | Stand B19-C18.
