CIAC Cosmopolitan Home is a company created in 1977, at the time with the main goal of creating a group of Italian furniture manufacturers located in the Tuscany region. This was all due to an innovative businessman who was willing to join forces with the many furniture factories in Italy and other countries. Today Milan Design Agenda will take you on a trip into discovering more about this amazing company.
There was also another goal behind the creation of CIAC: to export their own products around the world. This was due to the fact that, at the time of the company’s creation, there was a dominating tendency for young Italian companies to centre their focus solely on the domestic market.
Ironically CIAC would end up obtaining more than what they initially imagined. They have managed to export their work to over 60 countries worldwide with constant yearly growth. Thanks to their over 40 years in the luxury sector alongside a team of consists of 30 people who are all experts dedicated to a custom-made design.
Today CIAC Cosmopolitan Home globally represents and promotes a select group of Italian high-end companies producing both fine classical cabinetwork and contemporary design, from children’s bedrooms to kitchens. Each of these companies has the same goal: Growth and Quality orientation!
They’ve managed to expand their network to several countries in Africa, as well as China and several other nations located in the Far East. They specialized mostly in villas, hotels, and yachts.
A great majority of CIAC’s projects are started during the conception phases and run all the way through to completion. They have the advantage of having around 15 companies within their group all with the focus of manufacturing classical and contemporary furniture. Not to mention the fact that they have over 100 partners that are also involved in CIAC’s turn-key service from design, through to procurement, supply and installation.
