Frighetto Mobili is a 45-year-old company which has been manufacturing high-quality furniture and other amazing furnishings with the “Made in Italy” mark in its best. We’re talking about one of the most well-known furniture brands in Italy, so let’s see what makes them stand out so much after all these years.
Frighetto Mobili has been around for quite a while, being an example of a company which has survived and successfully adapted to the contemporary luxury furniture market. The company’s creator, Dino Frighetto started working at a joiner’s workshop when he was only 12 years old. Years later, when he was 16 he then took a decisive step which would define the legacy of this company: he created his own business which resulted in the company with the amazing legacy we see today.
Since Frighetto Mobili’s creation, this family-run business has suffered a significant expansion which would culminate with the creation of Frighetto Group. This group consists of an element of the enterprise which includes the work of highly experienced master craftsmen. There’s also 4 Family Brand, which was entirely imagined, designed and custom-designed produced in the company’s factory in Bassano del Grappa.
Frighetto Mobili (and Laboratorio Italiano, for that matter) have a philosophy in regards to the style of craftsmanship they practise, being very focused on hand made work. The company is responsible for the production of furnishings and pieces designed and built by hand in Italy. Not to mention the fact that this is all set in one of the most renowned places for Italian furniture, a name which still today is recognized around the world thanks to the artisan tradition in Italy and the products it exports: the Veneto.
What makes Frighetto Mobili special has heavily to do with the fact that they work with a series of materials (more specifically wood, marble, glass, leather, fabrics having everything culminate in the finest craftsmanship). This is a good example of when a craftsmanship tradition is passed down from generation to generation and still manages to pass its charm and quality through the present generations.
