Milia is a good example of the modern trends reflected in many Italian design companies. They’ve opened their first store in 1978, they’ve opened more spots in other areas of Italy, among them the largest furniture store in the south of Italy.
In 1978 the first Milia store was opened by four siblings: Camillo, Salvatore, Michele and Lucia Milia. Thanks to their enthusiasm and initiative they began to grow an interest in the world of interior design, beginning to invest in the most important Italian brands of design. However one of the main highlights of this company came in 1988 with the opening of F.ill Milia. After that two more highlights came for Milia with the opening of another store in 1993, and of a 5000SQM showroom in 2008.
In their own words, Milia is a company that prides itself in being up to date with the evolution of relevant interior trends. Among the services they provide aside from shopping, they also provide shipping by Sea, by Air or by Land. It’s a very flexible service that allows any type of client to easily choose the furniture for their homes.
It’s no surprise to say that Milia has a long portfolio of interior design projects having been involved in the conception and in the furniture picked for each space. Among the brands with which they’ve established a partnership, there are the top bespoke furniture brands such as Baxter, Cassina, Giorgetti, Ceccotti Collezioni, among many more.
A little look through the online shop of Milia will allow you to see a couple of distinct types of furniture for all sorts of home divisions and spaces. Either by looking through the stock or the lists of products (furniture, kitchen, outdoor, office, lighting and bathroom) you can find a variety of bespoke pieces meant for all tastes and decor styles.
