It could be €100 million question…. In 2003, they debuted at Milan Fashion Week catwalks scene, and since that day this label grew quickly, becoming a rising luxury label, ready to set its business in €100 million revenue this year. We’re talking about Ermanno Scervino, a fashion label builted by Toni Scervino (the entrepreneur) and Ermanno Daelli (the designer).
Nowadays, Milan’s fashion scene is hugely split between, established luxury brands highly rich in heritage, and youthful upstart labels like MSGM. But, Milan Design Agenda has been witness, in the last 2 years, of a new trend in fashion, there’s room for new Italian luxury brands that are commited with contemporary spirit.
“We absolutely believe that true luxury brands can still have a contemporary voice,” says entrepreneur Toni Scervino, who co-founded luxury label Ermanno Scervino in 2000 with fashion designer Ermanno Daelli.
Their approach appears to be working. Emphasizing specific collections (men, women and children), adding a luxury expertise, Ermanno Scervino is set to generate over €100 million in revenue this year. With more than 250 employees at its Florence-area headquarters, the brand has over 500 other points of sale around the world, including 42 retail stores and shop-in-shops.
Toni Scervino and Ermanno Daelli, believed since the beginning, in the company’s achievement, where the true “Made in Italy”, would take over through artistic creativity and tradition/heritage of italian luxury brands. Year after year, Ermanno Scervino developed its presence in markets that were not affected by the latest financial crisis, given them an important and sustentable growth. Russia, Ukraine and Azerbaijan (opened its first boutique in Baku, in the prestigious Four Seasons) in Europe, and Doha are some of countries, where you can find Ermanno Scervino.
