100% Design Shanghai is a unique exhibition in China featuring leading brands of contemporary interior design products which are strictly qualified by a Design Advisory Panel. The exhibition showcases original designs of furniture, decorative lighting, art collection and decorative materials. 100% Design Shanghai is the premiere venue for the exhibitors to interact and meet the buying needs of key specifiers and buyers.

In a dynamic shift towards a more plural approach to event management, as a way of maximizing value for participants, event organizers Reed Exhibitions have announced the merging and rebranding of five of its market leading trade events into one mega expo. With this strategic repositioning, DESIGN+BUILD will encompass exhibits from every aspect of outdoor space design and interior décor.

By 2020, China is expected to make up nearly 20% of a global construction market worth an estimated USD 12.7 trillion. Furthermore, the Ministry of Construction asserts that China is potentially the largest architectural market worldwide. The country has strong expertise in this area, with 11,000 architectural design companies generating estimated revenue of USD 11.3 billion and annual construction value amounting to USD 200 billion.

Shanghai is also the heart of Mainland China’s high-end product market, with China set to account for one third of the estimated USD 175 billion luxury goodsglobal market by 2015.
