Summertime in Milan just got a little nicer with the opening of ME Milan Il Duca, the very first Italian luxury hotel from ME by Meliá. By blending traditional Italian design with contemporary colors and furnishings, ME Milan hopes to be Milan’s newest trendy hotspot. Spanning 132 rooms, it offers guests 32 Chic Suites, a Personality Suite and a Suite ME—the last two feature 325-square-foot terraces that look out on the Piazza della Repubblica rooftop bar!

With everything hand-selected from the best designers and architects, to the floor lamps the artwork, the establishment is beautifully decorated. Throughout the building, guests will find photographs taken by Madrid-based fashion photographer Alberto Van Stokkum, which are on permanent display and exclusive to the hotel.

ME by Meliá hotels have always been especially proud of their rooftop spaces. Their Radio Rooftop Bar at their flagship London location becoming one of the trendiest spots in the city. Now with ME Milan Il Duca, the brand is ready to offer Milanese locals their second Radio site, which can be found on the 10th floor. As the only rooftop bar in the Piazza della Repubblica, Radio offers great views and serves international tapas with a broad cocktail list.

Of course, a luxury hotel isn’t complete without having its own restaurant, and in this case, it’s STK. Already a favorite steakhouse in several locations, including Las Vegas and New York, STK Milan’s menu includes various beef cuts and several signature dishes, like parmesan truffle fries, shrimp rice krispies and sweet corn pudding.
