Until the 24th of November you can enjoy the artworks of Jennifer Allora and Guillermo Calzadilla. The “Sediments, Sentiments (Figures of Speech)” installation, part of the “Fault Lines” exhibition, will for sure catch your eye.
This event takes place in Palazzo Cusani, a magnificent 17th Century building on Via Brera. You will find massive sculptures in the courtyard, tunnels and crawl spaces filled with singers performing passages from political speeches (from Martin Luther King, Dalai Lama, Saddam Hussein and other), and many other enticing pieces (and sounds).
This duo represented USA at the Venice Biennale in 2011, being considered a dynamic, socially engaged and contemporary team of artists.
Fault Lines was created for the Fondazione Nicola Trussardi and fits together nicely with the baroque rooms, spreading the sounds and images across the space. The curation is by well known Massimiliano Gioni, New York based contemporary art critic and curator.
