Valentino
Valentino has debuted the Fall/Winter 2014 campaign for its luxe sneaker collection. Shot by Terry Richardson, the imagery is minimal in composition but compelling nonetheless. It features the Italian fashion house’s latest sneakers set against a simple background with the focus squarely on the shoes. In addition to the more familiar camo colorways we’ve seen, Valentino offers up some unique color-blocked and vibrantly colored variations for the coming season. Look for the collection at Valentino boutiques. (see more here )
Prada
James McAvoy is the face of Prada’s fall/winter 2014 advertising campaign, and we feel that Miss Miuccia Prada couldn’t have made a better choice. The Scottish-born actor follows in the footsteps of last season’s Dane DeHaan, dawning head-to-toe Prada in the romantic images shot by Annie Leibovitz. (See more here)
As seen in the behind-the-scenes video, the collection consists of a variety of statement outerwear pieces offering a more avant-garde take on classic tailoring, as McAvoy embodies the quintessential “Prada man”.
For the PHILIPP PLEIN Fall/winter 14/15 advertising campaign, the designer chose to present the excitement of his Milan Fashion week 14/15 Milan fashion show entitled “My American Dream” through a series of images shot live during the event.
The campaign includes spectacular show scenes of flames and top models combined with stolen backstage images.
A personal invitation from the designer to enter into his fantastic world and experience up close the thrill and magic of this fashion extravaganza dedicated to the pioneer spirit of America. A spirit where freedom reigns and nothing is impossible, as in the world of PHILIPP PLEIN. (see more here)
