Salone del Mobile 2016 is official open! For the next 6 days (12 to 17 April) Milan will breath design everywhere! Today we start with two words that perfectly fits Flou DNA, Total Living. The result is a comprehensive design collection, a wide variety and a complete selection of items, ideal for every ambience that is furnished with style. At Salone del Mobile 2016 in Milan Flou presents the new proposals designed by Carlo Colombo, Emanuela Garbin and Mario Dell’Orto.
This is a double size bed that fully respects the tradition of the Flou textile bed. The strong point of Softwing is the fabric, draped over the frame and stitched like a haute couture garment. The stylish lines are joined by the soft headboard with rounded corners, the elegance of the details, the position of the folds, the precision of the stitching. The end-result is a bed with extraordinarily comfortable softness, simple yet sophisticated elegance, the perfect tailor-made product.
SOFTWING armchair
The delightfully rounded shape of the bed can also be observed in the armchair available with a high or low backrest, both of which make enormous impact in the furnished ambience. The outer shell, available in a range of precious wood types: walnut, ebony, matte or polished larch, is an elegantly curved structure that wraps around the soft upholstered seat. The fabric or leather covers of the inner surface are completely removable. The Softwing series also includes the soft upholstered pouff that is the perfect footrest to extend the armchair. However, it can also be used as a stand alone piece to complete the living room or the bedroom. It can be upholstered in fabric or leather, and both types of cover can be completely removed.
This lamp is produced in bronzed or graphite colour metal, with transparent, smoked or bronzed LED glass ball, an elegant sophisticated combination. One functional detail should be mentioned: to switch-on the lamp Softwing (both the table and standard versions), there is no need to fiddle with knobs or push switches – just stroke it gently with your finger or hand.
