Ristorante Berton is considered one of the top restaurants in Italy. If you happen to be in the country during this time of the year there are good reasons for you to consider having a Christmas dinner in Milan.
This restaurant, owned and commanded by the prestige Italian chef Andrea Berton first opened in 2013. Berton was walking through a new development of gleaming glass skyscrapers. Located in Porta Nuova Varesine, inside a glass-tower complex which was conceived by the Kohn Pedersen Fox, less than a year after it opened Ristorante Berton won a Michelin star.
The inside, on the other hand, was designed by Vudafieri Saverino Partners, who decorated the restaurant with two-tone leather Giorgetti chairs, circular brass ceiling panels, shimmering light fixtures, and LED-illuminated window shades.
There is a lot of natural light entering the restaurant thanks to the large windows this space has to its advantage. Separating the dining room from the kitchen is a huge glass wall which allows the customers to see what’s happening inside the kitchen as they speak and wait for their food.
Aside from the main dining room, there is also a balcony with a golden table for two to four people, a chef’s table for people in the middle of the kitchen and a private room separate from all others meant for business meetings with the capacity to sit around eight people.
When it comes to a menu, there are several menu options for the clients, as well as a big and varied wine list. If you happen to be in Milan and don’t know where to have a Christmas dinner, this might be a good option, whether it’s for business or simply an occasion with friends.
