This year is a promising one for Tom Dixon when it comes to the brand’s presence in Milan. The Manzoni is the new 100-cover restaurant set to open during Milan Design Week. Aside from the inauguration of the restaurant, Tom Dixon himself will be showing off three specific new collections: Fat, Spring, and Opal.
As the name suggests it, Zaha Hadid Architects is an international Architecture and Design Firm founded by the late architect Zaha Hadid! One of the most amazing entries from Zaha Hadid to Milan Design Week consisted of the collection named Brave New World, featuring two chairs named Bow and Rise, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects. The unique look of the chairs enchanted the eyes of many onlookers who attended the event.

One of the best entries for Milan Design Week with David’s mark was the trestle table BASIS, made as a collaboration alongside E15. This consists of a refined and adaptable system of solid wood trestles and beams constructed with traditional joinery techniques.
The late David Collins founded his eponymous David Collins Studio in 1985, and since then his refined, luxurious style has reached well beyond London to some of the top restaurants, hotels and private homes in the planet. Being a truly gifted and inspirational man, David helped shape the London Design Industry and, until his death in 2013, he led his studio with impressive grace and with a strong sense of design creativity!
After the death of its founder, David Collins Studio continued to follow Collin’s particular style and devoted his latent energy, inspirations and creativity to every single one of its new projects. Nowadays, the David Collins Studio is one of the most popular and powerful Design Studios in the United Kingdom with several projects scattered around the Globe!
As a collaboration with Wallpaper* Handmade, David Collins Studio produced a three-dimensional crochet pattern footstool. The piece was based on exploding atoms, flowers and molecules, and it was exhibited at Milan’s Salone del Mobile.
