“Fuorisalone 2016” is the most important event in the world related to design and furniture. The term is used to define the events and exhibitions that animate the entire city of Milan during the weeklong Salone del Mobile 2016, from 12 to 17 April. The ‘Salone del Mobile’ and ‘Fuorisalone 2016’ define MilanDesign Week 2016, premiering the latest trends for the forthcoming year and heralding a tidal wave of events, exhibitions and presentations.

What design events to see at Fuorisalone 2016?
*Hyundai Sculpture in Motion: the Design Philosophy
Through this event, Hyundai offers installations that celebrate the bond between the fluidity of the movements of the nature and design of the car.
*Salone Satellite: a space for young talent
700 designers, almost 3000 sqm of exhibition spaces. These are the numbers of Salone Satellite 2015, collateral event that will accompany Salone del Mobile 2016, focus on “New Materials, new design”, the theme of this edition.
*Space & Interiors: the new map of living
Discovering the narrative conjunction between the different materials proposed by a selection of companies specialized in the production of avant garde components.

*What is Fuorisalone?
Fuorisalone 2016 is the set of events distributed in different areas of Milan on days when the Salone Internazionale del Mobile which is staged in the halls of Rho Fiera. Every year, in April, Salone and Fuorisalone define the Fuorisalone Milan Design Week, the most important event in the world for design addicted. Main Milan design districts:Brera Design District, Tortona Design District and Ventura Lambrate.

*What is Fuorisalone.it ?
Fuorisalone.it is the official guide to the event. Istitutionally recognised and supported, it has also been the reference point for the Interareas project, ordered by Milan City Council in the sphere of the ‘Milano Creativa’ programme which aims to share the requests of the different staff involved in the Design Week, since 2014.
*When and where?
Fuorisalone 2016 will take place in Milano from 12 to 17 April.
The whole city will host thousands of events related to Design, in most cases are free admission.
