The wait is over.  iSalone 2014 is opening its doors, ready to welcome the 300 000 expected visitors, that came all over the globe, from the 8th of April to Sunday, 13 April at Fiera Milano, Rho. Milan Design Agenda provides you some useful information you’ll need, when all the adrenaline starts.

The Salone occupies more than 200,000 square meters and 20 pavilions. The Salone del Mobile and International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition: Classic 1, 2, 3, 4; Design5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 16, 20; Modern 14, 18. EuroCucina / FTK: 9, 11, 13, 15. International Bathroom Exhibition: 22, 24. SaloneSatellite: 13, 15. Car sharing. This year you can reach the Salone with car2go and use the reserved parking areathere, or rent a smart car directly at the Milan Fairgrounds, where you can also register for the car sharing service if you haven’t yet done so. The car2go smartcars, which will enable those who already have a ticket for the Salone del Mobile to drive to the Milan Fairgrounds, will be recognizable by a sticker that reads ‘Destinazione Salone’. Parking will be in Largo Nazioni, accessibile from Cargo1. Those not yet registered will be able to do so in Corso Italia, near the Centro Servizi, where the card will cost only 9€ instead of 19€, with 15 minutes of free driving time included.

Purchasing tickets online. Buy online and save. Pre-registration in this case is obligatory and allows you to choose between Basic Admission (entrance to the Fiera only) and the All-inclusive Ticket (entrance to the Fiera + free use of public transport).  Online pre-sales is open until Friday, 11 April, with lower prices than at the Fairgrounds ticket desk. The integrated ticket option is available only online. 

Exhibitors. Find who is exhibiting at the Salone 2014 through these online catalogues:  –  –  –  –  or through the free App downloadable from the App Store or Google Play. This year you can consult the catalogues of the Salone exhibitors on your smartphone or tablet, thanks to the official app ‘Salone del Mobile I Cataloghi’. Download it for free from the official ‘Salone del Mobile Milano’ app, or from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Journalists. Journalists can work in a reserved area within the Press Office in the Service & Congress Center, with free WiFi connection. Ask for the password at the reception desk. Press releases and official photos are available at this link.
