A Historical Building located a few kilometers from Milan is currently for sale for about $3.3 million. This house is a good example of Italian history preserved as well as a luxurious dream home. Today we decided to have a look inside of this luxury historic property.
This prestigious building, located about 20 miles southwest of Milan, in Northern Italy, dates all the way back to the 16th century and it’s currently for sale along with an independent 80 m2 apartment. Dimitri Corti has stated that this villa is a true testimony to “Italian historical and architectural heritage”.
The house has two floors surrounded by cement walls and a clay-tile roof which was rebuilt during the 17th century. Despite being currently used as a tourist accommodation facility it’s for sale with the perspective of becoming a single-family home.
This house has eleven refined rooms and a set of well-preserved furniture, decorative elements, and frescoes. One room that visitors who go there can’t miss is the majestic ballroom with a surface of 125 m2 and its ceilings measuring something between 4.5 and 6 meters.
If you go up to the second floor you can find the majestic dining room with wood ceilings and a fresco in the middle depicting the theme of Time. In that same floor you can also find a modern kitchen, three bathrooms one bedroom, and the master bedroom (which still has its original stone fireplace).
Another highlight of the house is its large courtyard which has a 400m2 portico connected to the 850 m2 garden. Still, on the topic of the exterior, there is an enormous swimming pool along with a space perfect for cooling down in hot days as well as a place which promotes privacy due to the tall trees in the surrounding area.
On a side note: A good advantage when it comes to the location of this historic property is the fact that it’s very near Lakes Como and Lecco, which are known as a favorite hangout place for several celebrities.
