Illulian: more on one of the brands present at Salone del Mobile

Illulian is a great example of a luxury rug brand that definitely shows the best of Italian tapestry in terms of quality and evolution. Today we’re knowing a little more about this tapestry brand that will be at this year’s Salone del Mobile.

Illulian: more on one of the brands present at Salone del Mobile

Illulian consists of an internationally acclaimed rug brand with over 50 years of activity, during which they never stopped growing and participating in several projects and partnerships alongside several prestigious names of the areas of architecture, design, and fashion. This consist of a successful family-run business, currently being headed by Shahnaz Illulian alongside her sons Davis and Bendis Ronchetti.

What tells Illulian apart from many other prestige rug brands is the fact that they face their tapestry jobs as being true works of art. Aside from being exclusive products, they are also some good examples of some of the finest Italian arts put to practise in this area.

The rugs from Illulian come in six distinct collections for several types of customers. While the Design Collection, for example, is made more with the basis of a contemporary style, you can definitely find a more classical and modern touch in the Palace Collection. The rugs can also be focused on specific terms, the strongest examples being the Kids Collection (reserved for the kids’ room interiors) and the Marina Collection (more focused on the themes of navigation and the sea).

We can also see some of their exclusive content on the Limited Collection, a line that counts with the work and creation from designers, artists and photographers. Lastly, there is the line titled Antique Rugs that, as the name implies, focuses on exclusive pieces from different time periods having had the hand and care of several masters artisans who put their heart and soul into some tapestry pieces that can be regarded as true works of art today.

Illulian’s rugs definitely play a relevant part in the establishing of truly enchanting and luxurious environments. There is a great thought and care put into every piece of tapestry from Illulian, from the establishment of a preliminary concept to the definition of the materials that will be used to make that vision into a reality. There’s also the fact that thanks to technology advancements these days, they can present photorealistic renderings to the clients in order to allow them to have a deeper look at the creative process the craftsmen are going for before the rug’s conception.
