Britt Moran and Emiliano Salci founded Dimorestudio in Milan in 2003. It is a full-service, international architecture and design studio that works on residential, retail, and hospitality projects as well as creating furniture, textiles, and lighting ideas under the brand name Dimoremilano. The heart of the business for the 40+ member team as well as for Dimoregallery, the evocative setting that features a rotating installation of the collection of the great masters of the 20th century and contemporary designers, championed by the Gallery, is the 19th-century location of Via Solferino in Milan’s Brera district.

Moran, a former graphic designer from North Carolina, and Salci, a former creative director from Cappellini who was born in Arezzo, Tuscany, are the ideal combination of skills. Their journey began in the same Milan location where DIMORESTUDIO is currently located, and it developed and grew – year after year – thanks to a skillful blending of decor, items, modern art, significant mid-century pieces, and finally, elements and spaces that they designed and produced themselves.

Dimore generates dreams and interprets memories. They create experiences and tell stories. They produce nostalgic designs and settings. a combination of settings, areas, and components that arouse feeling. A nonlinear story that muddles nostalgia, the present, and hopes. combining, matching, and pairing various eras. artisanal methods passed down through the centuries.
